The Connecticut Capitol Prayer Network is sponsoring a Prayer Breakfast at the state Capitol during Holy Week, on Wednesday, March 31. The breakfast will be held in Room 310 of the Capitol, from 8:45—9:50. The purpose of this breakfast is to encourage legislators and staff in the application of faith to their responsibilities at the Capitol and in their personal lives. CCBI is not sponsoring the breakfast, but we support the CCPN. Here is how you can help make this Legislative Prayer Breakfast a success. You will find a link below where you can send an email invitation to your legislators. This is so important. We really want to fill Room 310 with legislators and staff. Being invited by their constituents is the best way we know to get them there! Whatever else you want to say about politicians, they pay attention to the people whose votes they need to be elected. That is why we are asking you to take a moment and click the link to invite your representative and senator. (Then to follow up with a personal note of invitation or a phone call would be even better.)

As your constituent, I am inviting you to attend a first ever Legislative Prayer Breakfast sponsored by the non-partisan Connecticut Capitol Prayer Network. It is to be held during Holy Week in Room 310 of the Capitol on Wednesday, March 31, from 8:45-9:50.
The Connecticut Capitol Prayer Network is a network of volunteers from across the state and from various Christian faith communities who are seeking to serve the members of the legislature and their staffs by praying for them and by praying for the business of government conducted at the Capitol. Not affiliated with any party or political movement, the CCPN seeks to encourage believers across Connecticut to pray for God's blessing upon our elected leaders as well as for just laws and the welfare of our state.
Would you please be the guest of CCPN on Wednesday, March 31 for breakfast, for a SHORT keynote by Dr. Clive Calver, former president of World Relief (one of the world's largest Christian relief agencies) and now Senior Pastor of Walnut Hill Church in Bethel, CT? In the middle of Holy Week we would like to honor your service to the state through your office and to pray for the blessing of heaven upon you and your key staff and the work of the legislature.
Please plan to be there that day. If you know you are able to attend, please respond to Barbara LaChance at 860-460-4716. She can also be reached by email at barbara@generationalsolutionsllc.com.
